You’re a woman in midlife. You’re busy.

You wear the same clothes over and over and they just don’t feel like you anymore.

You don’t feel comfortable, confident, stylish. You miss feeling like you in your clothes.

You’ve come to the right place!

I’m Jacquelyn, also a busy woman in midlife! I’ve worked in corporate America, been a stay-at-home mom and am now an entrepreneur. I’ve experienced changes women go through in their bodies, lifestyle and personal style so I know how invaluable it is to have a resource to help with those challenges. JGP Styled Me allows me to be that resource for women just like you.

After over a decade of working in digital marketing and ecommerce, I turned my love of fashion into a career and spent seven years as a personal stylist and styling leader for Stitch Fix, where I styled hundreds of women across the U.S. Years of casually styling my sisters and friends, as well as slinging denim at the GAP, preceded that.

I started JGP Styled Me because I absolutely love seeing women’s faces light up when they like what they see in the mirror. I’m passionate about helping women feel amazing about their personal style as they move through midlife transitions.

I’m based in Austin, Texas and work virtually with women just about everywhere.

There are some things you should know about working with me.

  • I believe that fashion should be fun, and what you wear should make you feel good.

  • I believe that getting dressed shouldn’t be a difficult chore, no matter the occasion.

  • Your body is your body and it doesn’t need to be made to look thinner, taller, leaner, (fill in the blank with every other adjective you’ve been taught should describe you). I embrace body acceptance and body positivity (there is a difference and both are cool with me).

  • I don’t subscribe to antiquated style rules (looking at you, no white before Memorial Day or after Labor Day), period.

  • I believe that style is about much more than just the clothes; there is an emotion that is tied to the garments we wear and/or hang onto.

That reads a little bit like the Nicene Creed but I want to be transparent about my beliefs when it comes to personal style.

Want to know more about me?

  1. My birthday is on December 15 and I came home from the hospital in a red stocking. I grew up in a big family–the youngest of seven kids–in a rural Midwestern town and couldn’t wait to get the heck out of there. So after university, I tried out Houston, New York City, Providence, Boston, London and Chicago before settling (for now) in Austin.

  2. I vividly remember once as a child doing cartwheels in Thom McAn (shoe store of the 80s) because my mom agreed to buy me a pair of shoes that I wanted. My first real job related to fashion was working at the GAP which is where I learned to fold like a pro. All that to say, I’ve forever been into fashion.

  3. I’m the Type A planner amongst my family and friends; I’ll choose the restaurant, book the Airbnb and provide the itinerary–probably by way of a spreadsheet.

  4. I’m always planning a trip somewhere, and two of my all-time favorites were Ireland and Japan.

  5. My husband and I met working at TripAdvisor in its early days, and here we are nearly 15 years later with a daughter and two Boston Terriers.

What my clients say…

Barbara K.

“With Jacquelyn's assistance, I was able to find the perfect dress for me! Jacquelyn was prompt, affordable, stylish, professional, and she exceeded all my expectations.”

Julie S.

“She was very thoughtful in everything she said and did. I didn't get embarrassed or made to feel badly about what I had in my closet, but felt more like a weight was lifted…”

I’ve helped lots of other women like you. Here’s what they have to say.
