Taylor Swift Eras Tour Outfit Ideas
I feel like one of the lucky ones. Tickets have been secured for Taylor Swift’s Eras tour! But now it’s time to figure out the outfit… Admittedly, I regularly fall deep into the Eras rabbit hole on Instagram and Swifties are—unsurprisingly—bringing it. Lots of sequins, hot pink and STYLE. What's a girl gonna do? What's a girl gonna do?
Fortunately, Eras spans over a decade and covers so many different styles that you’re likely to find something in your closet that’ll work all too well. I put together some options with pieces from my own closet to get ready to see her in Houston this weekend. Confession: my biggest consideration is footwear! I’m definitely not feeling like I’m 22 these days, so I focused on looks that would work with either my Veja sneakers or my Tecovas cowboy boots for the three-hour show. I really didn’t want to buy anything new specifically for the concert, and I was still able to come up with some fun, Eras-appropriate styles that I like and feel comfortable wearing.
I looked to Taylor’s albums for inspiration for each look:
The red and ivory dress looks give a nod to the earlier days of her self-titled album when her style was focused on her country roots, complete with cowboy boots. And of course, anything red is appropriate for RED.
The black H&M dress subtly speaks to reputation when Taylor’s style included lots of moody blacks.
The pink blazer looks are mash-ups of her 1989, reputation and Lover eras.
