Where I Shop
If you took a peek in my closet, you’d see that I’m pretty consistent with the retailers I shop at. That’s not to say that I’m not open to new brands or shopping smaller, local boutiques, but the bulk of my closet consists of pieces from a small handful of retailers. While I appreciate a designer handbag, most of my clothing and shoes come from the following retailers (and is often purchased on sale!):
I’m lucky to have an H&M storefront very nearby and it’s one of the retailers I regularly shop in-person because the store is spacious, easy to shop and never too busy. I like H&M for unique tops and dresses as well as some basics.
I really like Old Navy’s athletic wear, especially leggings. I’ll occasionally grab a cute top or comfy dress here, too.
I’ve been a J Crew devotee pretty much my entire life! I’m a big fan of their tops, sweaters, blazers and shoes. They also have gorgeous jewelry and fun hair accessories.
Target has created so many great brands. There’s not much I don’t buy at Target (with the exception of jeans - Madewell has me covered).
Madewell jeans are my favorite, especially the Kick Out Crop, Perfect Vintage and Curvy Stovepipe. They’re also a go-to for tops and footwear for me.
I love the shoe department at Nordstrom. It’s also my go-to for my beloved Zella athleisure as well as sleepwear and intimates.
Although these are my go-to retailers for my closet, there are several other retailers I shop when styling my clients. I like to shop a wide range of stores for variety when honing in on a client’s style.
